Auditor and Accountant

Apoorva Rawat is an ACCA finalist with a diverse academic and practical background. Apoorva has accumulated substantial work experience in accounting and finance roles, including positions as an accountant and FX trader in London. She has handled a range of accounting tasks and is proficient with various accounting software. She is also skilled in financial modelling, risk management and possesses programming knowledge in Python and R Language. Apoorva aims to leverage her technical and analytical skills while continuing to grow professionally.

She holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, where she undertook research in mergers and acquisitions that went on to receive the Simon Williams Prize for the best research in Period 42. She also has a M.Sc. in Global Financial Trading with Distinction from Coventry University. She specialised in Econometrics and Risk Analysis and completed a graded research study “A comparative study of GARCH (1,1) models for multi-asset portfolios”. 

 As a teenager, she professionally participated in sports such as swimming, basketball and badminton which turned into lifetime hobbies. She likes to read and volunteer in theatre productions.
