Praful did his A-Levels in Leicester and then moved to the big city to do his degree in Accounting and Computing. After graduating in London he obtained employment with a significant provincial firm in St Albans and after several years there he moved to a central London practice where he was working under the supervision of Roger Barcant. The two of them hit it off immediately and nurtured each other’s interest in computing. When Roger left to form his own firm, Praful naturally followed and hence he is a founding member of the firm.

Praful is an accredited consultant with QuickBooks, Sage, Mind Your Own Business (MYOB) and Microsoft Accounting. He is now also a fully accredited XERO consultant as well as maintaining his accredited status with both Sage and QuickBooks. Most recently he has also gained accreditation with the implementation of Workflow Max and Receipt Bank.

Praful was born in Uganda and moved with his family to Leicester in 1972. He has two adult children who are both gainfully employed and are a major part of his life. Praful and his wife live in North London and are both active in sports including cycling and skiing. However, Praful’s real hobby is computers and nothing gives him more pleasure than curling up with a computing magazine or trying to understand the latest IT systems and technology. In terms of computing, as they say, he’s got his head in the Cloud!
